The home-grown\u00a0New Years\u00a0<\/strong>Eve Family\u00a0<\/strong>Parades <\/strong>in Manzanita from 2006- 2008. Hosted in the latter of those years by Fulcrum Community Resources, they were graced by giant puppets, stilt walkers, drummers, trumpets and flaming torches.<\/p>\n

In 2022 Fulcrum re-instituted this free family-centered New Years Eve event.<\/strong> The midnight parades have been small but the really magical part has been the long evening with face painting and costume play, Heart of Cartm crafts table, an indoor kids parade, the unveiling of the Gratitude Jars and dancing all graced by DJ Prana Wave. Soup and bread were provided by Wild with other snacks by Fulcrum. In 2024 the event was co-hosted by Pine Grove Community House. \u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Community Winter Solstice Celebrations<\/strong>:\u00a0 Fulcrum sponsored these events for many years.<\/p>\n
