Since 2023, Fulcrum has donated the 5% cut we receive from funds donated to our sponsored projects  to help foster food security in the Nehalem Bay area.  We have given to Nehalem Bay Community Services food bank (formerly the Methodist Church), the North Coast Food Bank in Wheeler, Nehalem Elementary School, and Little Pantries (located in Manzanita and Nehalem).

We have supported local growers by paying for bread (Wolf Moon Bakery), eggs (Sunbeam farm) and veggies (Moon River Farm and Kingfisher Farm), as well as meat (Lance’s Farm Vittles and Nehalem Valley Ranch) to be donated to the food banks. We have also contributed funds to the Manzanita Farmers Market and Moon River Farm to provide additional support to “double up food bucks” for folks on SNAP.
